just because i'm a dope smoking, tree hugging, Goddess worshipper who is pro-choice and supports gay rights does not mean that I am not a good Republican.

Yes, this was meant to be funny, and it's very true. Sometimes you just have to tell peole how you feel about things. I like the people I work with, a lot, but I hate talking politics at work, but sometimes it can be a little bit funny. I have moderate to liberal social views and since these are the few views I discuss (knowing my co-workers better than they know me apparently) they somehow got the mistaken view that I was a democrat. I'm not insulted by that, I don't discuss most of my politics in the office for a reason.

Anyway, I loved that line and just wanted to share a little humor (might be I'm the only one who finds it funny though)

Work sucks

I hate having to deal with friggen idiots, especially when $48+mil is involved.

Some people are so stupid they should be demoted back to bank teller. This guy wanted my to change EVERYTHING on a security, because he thought it was wrong(class code, CUSIP, and ammount--hello, big difference between 48 mil and 500 mil) He obviously didn't check the CUSIP (account key) against the list of CUSIPs for the deal, or he would have seen the the $48 mil was correct. Of ourse this all goes down 15 minutes before everything needs to be set up to pay the securities today. He caused a lot of people a lot of stress and worry, and why did it happen? When he made copies of the securities before placing them in the vault, he forgot to copy one, and asumed another was totally wrong instead of checking his facts. Fucking moron made me cuss out loud at work, something I rarely do.
